Heritage Environmental Services, a company owned by EQT Infrastructure, has reached an agreement to acquire EBV from General Dynamics. EBV, located near Joplin, Missouri, specializes in disposing of energetic waste and provides demilitarization services.

EBV's 55-acre facility features various incinerators, furnaces, and treatment units. The company has been a leading provider of these services since 1988.

HP Nanda, CEO of Heritage Environmental Services, said, "We're thrilled for the opportunity to strengthen our energetics management position with the addition of EBV and expand our capabilities into the demilitarization market. The addition of EBV will enable the growth of our incineration services to enhance our ability supporting the needs and challenges of our customers. Our shared values of safety and sustainability provide a strong foundation for our future growth."

The deal, for which financial details were not disclosed, is expected to close in the third quarter of 2024. It is subject to customary conditions and approvals. Ice Miller LLP advised Heritage Environmental Services legally, while Houlihan Lokey was the financial advisor to General Dynamics.

Heritage Environmental Services, based in Indianapolis, provides a range of waste management and sustainability services. The company has over 1,600 employees.
