The EPA issued a detailed report documenting the first-ever test and verification of PFAS destruction using GA-EMS’ commercial iSCWO technology.

Since PFAS are not regulated as a hazardous waste under the Resource Conservation Recovery Act (RCRA), these data were submitted voluntarily and likely represents only a small fraction of total PFAS waste.

The study yielded encouraging findings on removing polystyrene and polymethyl methacrylate microplastics and nanoplastics.
