The EPA issued a detailed report documenting the first-ever test and verification of PFAS destruction using GA-EMS’ commercial iSCWO technology.

In addition to PFOA and PFOS, Purefast Home filters have been tested for non-detect removal of PFHpA, PFHxS, PFNA, PFBS, GenX, and PFDA.

Since PFAS are not regulated as a hazardous waste under the Resource Conservation Recovery Act (RCRA), these data were submitted voluntarily and likely represents only a small fraction of total PFAS waste.
