DR. GRAHAM PEASLEE is a professor at the University of Notre Dame, who has worked with the Fire Services for 4 years to help remove PFAS exposure sources from both AFFF usage and turnout gear. He developed a nuclear experimental method to rapidly screen for fluorine...as a surrogate for PFAS. He has published more than 230 peer-reviewed papers - most with student co-authors - and a half dozen now that are related to his study of firefighter textiles and AFFF-contaminated sites and methods by which to measure PFAS in them.
