Dr. Kung-Hui (Bella) Chu is a Professor of Zachry Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas. Dr. Chu’s expertise is in environmental biotechnology, focusing on bioremediation and biodegradation of priority and emerging contaminants such as PFAS and plastics; production of bioenergy and bioproducts from organic wastes, and sustainable development of aquaculture. Her research has been funded by federal and local agencies including DoD-SERDP, DoD-ESTCP, NSF, USEPA, USDA, and Texas Department of Transportation.
