U.S. EPA / Federal Facilities Restoration and Reuse Office
Jed has over 30 years of environmental engineering experience with a strong emphasis on the analysis of organic contaminants and their degradation products. This includes validating in-situ measurement systems for petroleum hydrocarbons and chlorinated solvents as well as measuring the degradation of chlorinated solvents in subsurface environments undergoing thermal treatment. More recent research contributions were on the interfacial behavior of select PFAS and AFFF. Jed’s work with the EPA is on evaluating the fate, transport, and health effects of chemicals.
