Uriel Garza-Rubalcava is a postdoctoral researcher at Brown University under the guidance of Dr. Linda Abriola and Dr. Kurt Pennell. His current research focuses on the transport and retention of PFAS in unsaturated porous media. Before joining Brown, Uriel worked on passive sampling of contaminants and attained his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering under the advice of Dr. Danny Reible at Texas Tech University. He also holds a B.Sc. and a M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Guadalajara, Mexico.
