Alexis Meservey is a PhD student working in Dr. Kurt Pennell's lab at Brown University. Her research involves advancing our fundamental understanding of the delivery, retention and adsorption performance of particulate amendments to treat groundwater contaminated with per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). She is also working on the development of biochars and carbons for the purpose of treating PFAS-contaminated groundwater.
