Mr. Plank has over 20 years of experience in the development of process based conceptual site models for complex groundwater remediation sites. He is a groundwater remediation industry Thought Leader, co-developer of the Environmental Sequence Stratigraphy (ESS) approach to aquifer characterization, and co-author of “Best Practices for Environmental Site Management: A Practical Guide for Applying Environmental Sequence Stratigraphy to Improve Conceptual Site Models” (USEPA Groundwater Issue Paper 2017). Mr. Plank’s work results in improved understanding of contaminant storage and transport pathways leading to clearer analyses of spatial and temporal trends in analytical data and better informed, more efficient remediation programs.
