Dr. Erica Pensini

Dr. Erica Pensini is an associate professor in the School of Engineering at the University of Guelph. She focuses on water treatment, soil remediation and contaminant transport. Prior to this research, Pensini gained industry experience in the environmental consulting sector (AECOM and MWH Stantec, Milan), as well as in the oil and gas (Sanjel, Canada) and petrochemical sector (SABIC, Netherlands). Here, she focused on emulsion separation, fouling mitigation and water reuse in industrial plants, as well as on the development of methods for enhanced oil recovery.
