Frank Cerio is the Director of Environmental Programs at AVANTech LLC. He graduated from the State University of New York – Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY-ESF) at Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. He graduated from Syracuse University with a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering. With over 20 years of water treatment experience, he has provided remedial solutions in flocculation, filtration, separation, bioreactors, odor control, dewatering, and high purity systems. Prior to AVANTech, he worked at Xylem as the Senior Business Development Manager for Emerging Contaminants. He also worked for the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) as the Program Manager for the Environmental Programs Division and PFAS Division while at Southwest Division Headquarters in Dallas, TX. He holds a patent “Methods and Compositions for Removing Phosphates in Water (#9957174), granted in May 2018.
He enjoys reading, spending time with his family, traveling, and eradicating PFAS.
