Khalid Mustafa received his MS in Environmental Engineering from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. He is currently a PhD candidate at Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken, NJ, USA. He is working under the supervision of Professor Dibs Sarkar in the Environmental Sustainability Laboratory. His research focuses on identification, quantification, and transformation of PFAS species in WWTPs. He is also working on adsorption of various PFAS species on adsorbents for sustainable PFAS remediation.
