Ori is currently a Ph.D. student in the department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Colorado School of Mines. He received his bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University in chemical engineering. His current research focuses on hydrothermal treatment for the reuse of spent carbon used to remove per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs) from contaminated streams. Outside of lab, Ori is a proud dog dad, basketball fan, and enjoys going on hikes in Colorado.
