Sujin Park, EIT is a fourth-year Ph.D. candidate in the Geotechnical Engineering program at the University of Texas at Austin, specializing in groundwater remediation. She holds a B.A. in Civil Engineering from Kookmin University and dual master's degrees in Civil Engineering from Hanyang University and Environmental Engineering from UT Austin. Prior to pursuing her doctoral studies, she gained three years of professional experience as a structural engineer at Yooshin Engineering Corporation, where she designed underground structures. Her current research program investigates the efficacy of particulate activated carbon in mitigating the down-gradient migration of PFAS and CVOCs in groundwater.
