Mr. Whitton is a chemical engineer (B.Eng. 1991, McGill University) and a senior business development professional who specializes in bringing innovations to full commercialization. Mr. Whitton’s 30+ year career spans a wide variety of industries - chemical, metallurgical, materials, cleantech, environmental - and functions – engineering, administration, operations, business development. Joining E2metrix in 2016, Mr. Whitton held the position of Vice President, Business Development, until the company’s acquisition in 2024 by global water treatment company, Ovivo. Mr. Whitton now supports Ovivo’s PFAS Solutions product group in advancing the company’s innovations (ex. electrochemical oxidation, ozone foam fractionation) to the North American marketplace.
