Veronica Gonsalez is an Environmental Engineer from Sao Paulo, Brazil, and earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Sao Paulo in 2015. With four years of experience in Environmental Consulting, she specialized in contaminated site rehabilitation and remediation. In 2018, she joined Tufts University for her Master of Science degree. Veronica contributed to several initiatives to transform environmental regulation in Sao Paulo. Currently pursuing her doctoral studies and exploring longevity and treatment effectiveness for nitrate bioremediation, Veronica aims to complete her PhD by August 2024, and is eager to contribute to environmental engineering research in the industry.
